Hideous Visions of the Million Brazilians is a psychedelic singles collection resulting in a mysterious and joyful noise - less a performance and more occult ritual. The drums and bass pound and throb under the guitar thwack and sax allure. It's a sound you hear wafting through the darkened wood as you slowly drift on down through whatever those waters are that flow around you; pulsing and chanting.

The controversial Guatemalan folk lore figure Ajitz is a shaman (healer) to some and red brujo (witch) of ill deeds to others. Some say that when holy men were being murdered in the name of Christianity during the Spanish conquest of Guatemala, the Ajitz disappeared into the jungle for preservation carrying a lantern, axe and doll in his own image and reemerged years later evoking to banish evil spirits, providing devotees with spiritual protection and cursing those that dare threaten the lives of his people.

This is an AMAZING remastered recording of Tilahun Gessesse, aka "The Doctor", the godfather of Ethiopian Jazz music, backed from by the Wailas Group from late 70s' swinging Addis Ababa scene!
In Ethiopia and for Ethiopians, the very concept of contemporary music is synonymous with the name Tilahun Gesesse. He is a singer like no other with tremendously charismatic appearance, holding his rightful place in Ethiopia as the country's one and only king of pop.
